Apparently there was supposed to be an earthquake yesterday/last night pero sa awa ng Diyos wala naman. :D (Or maybe I didn't feel anything because I was sleeping, slept at like... uh... 11:00? lol ang aga, ganun ka walang magawa :P). Morality aside however, sana lumindol. I could use the excitement hahaha. As it is, I've turned to rereading the books we have around the house for entertainment. (I've stopped watching TV since 2nd year college, sawa na ulit sa NWN, net is still buggy and there doesn't seem to be any "gimiks" happening... well meron pala, small ones but no one tells me about em :( sad) ngak, drama. XD

Since a movie on it is on the way, I decided on the Time Traveler's Wife. :P And then maybe I'll finally finish "The Silver Chair" from the Chronicles of Narnia. We've had the whole collection since Kiel was in gradeschool since they used those books for their english classes so I also got to read them then, cept for the chair... Dunno why, but the title just didn't grab me as... erm... interesting? Not like "The Last Battle" anyway XD.
Ah yes, the last battle... Monkey talks w/ Donkey, Donkey > Lion haha. Fun times, fun times.

I had fresh blueberries for the first time in my life. It was bliss.

My flight back home got canceled so I had to stay over at my cousin's attic for the night. There were dead bees.

Beta-ing
Being at the airport with an internet terminal that's actually on full power and connected is love! ♥ The time has flown by without my noticing. I managed to give moonsliver some comments (though not as detailed as I would have liked; I'm not anywhere near full-beta mode right now) and I'm current on my f-list too. Ah, how wonderful.

So Near, Yet So Far
I'm seeing the waiting lounge fill with people around me. I wanted to buy some food from the shop nearby, but I don't want to pack up my things, and the shop is just far enough that I can't just leave my things on the bench while I get myself some munchies. I know this is Japan, but I can't. For one thing, it's an airport and most of the people around me aren't Japanese. For another, just putting expensive equipment on a seat and walking off? I have never done this and still would never do it. There's a large gap between casual and foolhardy. But I want munchies. *sighs, has eaten all her provisions*

Unconcerned Global Citizen
CNN was showing coverage of the earthquake, and I listened with one ear (as most of us are wont to do in airport lounges). It's just like September 11 all over again--the same news, over and over and over again. I guess it's just a lack of information, but still, one can't help but feel one has to choose between being a depressed global citizen, or a self-absorbed frog happily sitting in a well.

Getting Cut Off
There are irritated babies and children, and there are annoyed parents and other passengers. Oh dear. I hope this baby is not near me and sleeps throughout the flight, or I may seriously consider taking a double dose of sleeping pills early. Writing won't get done in this sort of noise--too much stray energy.

Writing
Actually, if I'm honest, I can't get any writing done. There are too many people around me, and I just can't write when surrounded by people. I'm too in,terested in them. I'm also getting a little wound-up from all the nervous energy everyone else seems to be emitting. (Why oh why do people work themselves up before a flight? They end up making the mellow ones of us all worked-up too ...) In any case, blogging is a yes, writing is a no. It's almost boarding time--I'll pack up and just go.

Wanderlust
The next post I make will be from the USA. I'm so excited! o(^_^)o Well, except for that kid in the boarding line who's just decided to become hysterical ... Uh-oh. *sighs, contemplates loud music*

So I was taking a look at some NPC sprite sheets, and saw a few guys I couldn't identify. I tend to forget small details so I probably forgot who these guys were. Maybe I never saw them at all? I dunno. I need some help in identifying who they are and where/when they appear. Man, my memory is horrible.

Uh, and here I am again, on LJ only to say something and leave again.

So! What I wanted to say is that my new full-time job is love. I'm working 9-10 hours a day and loving my work environment and what I do. What the heck my position is, however, is totally up for debate. oO The jewelry place job is for sure over now, but I'm waiting for my final paycheck. And as for my job with kids, I'm doing that on Saturdays and Sundays now, in addition to church. Oh yeah, I'm thoroughly exhausting myself, all right.

Secondly, I'm going on cruise tomorrow at 6am, which is approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes away from now. Not packed at all. Crap. Anyway, I'll come back on the 24th, but I don't think I'll be LJing anyway, unless I'm really estatic about sharing pictures or something.

Oh and I bought a dress and shoes. Eek.

And I am so terribly annoyed and angry right now. I have just about HAD IT with people walking all over me and saying shit to me. I'm SO FED UP. I'm not mentioning any names, because I don't need to get myself worked up over each and every individual. There's too many damn people on my black list right now.

On the fun side of things, before cruise, I'll be meeting up with Tessa and D-chan! ::squishes you two:: ♥ For time and location pinpointing, we said 10am, and so let's make it the Radisson Hotel lobby, in fornt of the check-in area, okie? ^____^

Mobile Internet
Saeki saved me again! I forgot to look up which of Narita's two terminals I needed to be at, but with Saeki's help I found my flight (20 mins early from Terminal 1!). *snuggles Saeki and eMobile* I love mobile internet.

Random
Sakura is a station on the Keisei line, but it's not 桜, it's 佐倉. Are we amused yet? (Are we confused yet?) I really shouldn't be as entertained by train announcements as I currently am.

Internet
At my current rate of use, Saeki's batteries will die in the next hour. Phooey. (Edit: I have power! Hooray for unattended power outlets! *cheer*)

Earthquake
It's been over 48 hours since the Sichuan earthquake, and I'm finally seeing posts on my LJ f-list. Guess I just watch the earthquake news too closely. I expect one in Tokyo anyday, and yet I keep hoping that I'm wrong and that it'll never hit. The earthquakes are all off the coast, after all. But the closest one has been 25 miles from Tokyo. Well, I won't dwell on it--it's not I can stop it if it comes.

Internet at Narita
Aha, eMobile works beautifully at Narita! Time to comment-spam and other things (for as long as power lasts). (ETA: I found a power outlet and a seat beside it. I have Internet until take-off! o(^_^)o)

n00b to the community here (and for the most part, n00b to LJ in general). I thought I might as well go ahead and make a début post, seeing as I was curious about it.

I noticed that a little while ago, someone posted a poll asking what your favourite starting pin and/or pin type was (i.e. Shockwave, Pyrokinesis, Force Bullets, etc.). My question is, WHY is this your favorite? Do you just like the way the pin works? Did you build some kind of strategy around that specific type of pin? Simply put, why do you like that particular type?

Personally, I enjoy using Shockwave. I'm a simple hack-n-slash person, so I always try to keep a Shockwave around as my main source of damage.

I am opening a new contest (and I think this is the first of its kind?), and it's called Mimic the Icontest!

Well, Sanji had his Prom... my prom is in two days.

I can't really say I'm siked  because it's probably going to be lame. But I just know that someone there will get drunk and liven up the party. lol

I'm more excited for the prom weekend. Me and a couple of my friends are going up to one of their cottages. (watch us all get wasted) It's not that it would be fun to remember nothing over there, but... there'll be pictures, so I can figure out what happened from the pictures people take. Then we're gonna have some paintball action and camp out. Should be fun. I'm no good with guns though, so I'm pretty much screwed.

So from the start of friday to morning monday.... I'm not gonna be here.... and probably wont remember anything that happened. Which is kinda bad because of too much alcohal. But it's only the weekend, and I probably wont drink that much ever again, so I hope it doesn't cause any long-term effects. This is the thing that's gonna screw me over since exams are coming up real fast... but I don't wanna think of them... AT ALL!
